Born in the UK, the Ukrainian-Irish violinist Pavlo Beznosiuk has established himself as an outstanding performer in the field of early music as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster. He plays a variety of instruments, including modern, classical, baroque and renaissance violins, viola and mediaeval fiddles.
Pavlo Beznosiuk has led and directed various period instrument orchestras including The Academy of Ancient Music, the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the Hanover Band, and he also plays with the Hausmusik ensemble, the Beethoven String Trio of London (which he founded) and the New London Consort. He has recorded extensively for European radio and television and on CD.
