The Mriya choir of Lviv, Western Ukraine, is based at the Lviv Academy of Commerce and consists mainly of students and staff of the Academy. The choir's extensive repertoire includes sacred and secular works by Ukrainian and other composers as well as Ukrainian folk songs. The conductor is Bohdan Derevianko.
Since its founding in the 1980s the choir has given over 500 performances in Ukraine and abroad. Outside Ukraine the choir has given concerts and performed at festivals in various countries including Poland, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Croatia, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK.
