Mikhail Rudy grew up in Ukraine and trained at the Moscow Conservatory. He now performs regularly throughout Europe and the USA as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. Invited in 1986 by Karajan to perform at the Salzburg Easter Festival, he has since played at many venues and festivals in cities including Berlin, London, Paris and Vienna, and appears regularly with such eminent orchestras as the Berlin Philharmonic, Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre National de France and the St Petersburg Philharmonic. Mikhail Rudy's discography includes piano works by Brahms, Liszt, Ravel, Schubert, Tchaikovsky and the complete Rachmaninov Piano Concertos.
