A 350-page catalogue accompanying an exhibition of artistic gold objects excavated from ancient Scythian burial grounds in Ukraine. The exhibition, entitled "Gold of the Nomads: Scythian Treasures from Ancient Ukraine", was shown in several US locations in 1991-2001. Illustrated descriptions of 172 exhibits are preceded by nine essays on the Scythians and their art.
