History of Ukraine: History of Ukraine-Rus'

Mykhailo Hrushevsky's Istoria Ukrainy Rusy (History of Ukraine-Rus') was originally published in ten volumes between 1898 and 1937. It remains unsurpassed in examining the sources and scholarly literature on Ukrainian history from ancient times to the mid-seventeenth century. The work is currently being published in English translation within the framework of the Hrushevsky Translation Project at the Peter Jacyk Centre for Ukrainian Historical Research, Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, University of Alberta.
