Postgraduate studies

Ukraine-related topics can be studied, to a greater or lesser degree, as part of postgraduate taught courses at various UK universities. In most cases the Ukrainian element forms part of a broader subject area, for example Eastern Europe or the post-Soviet states, although optional course modules focusing specifically on Ukraine are also available in some cases. The extent to which research degree students at a given university can focus their research wholly or partly on Ukraine-related topics is largely dependent on the availability of academic staff able to provide the appropriate supervision. At some universities Ukrainian language courses are available to postgraduate students. Course modules specifically related to Ukraine or the Ukrainian language are available at the following universities.
